When asked what experience you need to get into permit expediting, Rick’s favorite response is “a lot of years on your feet”. As proof of that, Rick’s career has been an eclectic one, with turns as a controller, commercial real-estate agent, and EMT. Rick has been working in the development consulting and permit expediting profession for the past 20 years and has been with KWA since 2010. His expertise is in large commercial projects including adaptive re-use, high-rise, multi-family, and subdivisions, and he’s managed such projects as the Columbia Square development in Hollywood and the new LAX Central Utility Plant, and is currently managing the LAX-Automated People Mover project.
